My Modifications

Below Will Be The Story Of My 2007 Shelby Mustang
Coming Late Aug 2006

Well after waiting for almost 2 years the phone call finally came on Aug 21, 2006 that the truck just pulled into the dealership and the red shelby was sitting on it. Up to this time I have read everything I could find on the internet, magazines, or just talking to people about this car. I have pictures, video clips, posters, books, all dealing with the GT500. The journey to get it is finally over... the new chapter is to make it mine.

With the dealership being over 2 hours away I did not want to break in a 500 HP engine driving it at 65-70 for 2 hours so I had a local company trailer the car back to house to spare it the interstate abuse.

To start the process of making it mine the first order of business was to change the exhaust. The factory exhaust is very restrictive and the sound of it does not sound like you have 500hp. The new exhaust flows allot better gives it the sound it should have, and since it is less restrictive you make more power and after all is 500hp really enough power?

 I don't think so !

Here is some more changes. Side window louvers installed. Tinted windows 50% on side glass and 35% on rear window.

Also Side Rocker Panel Molding has been removed and at paint shop for color matching. Should have them back on the car Sept 9th.

Mirror Covers Installed

Side rocker moldings painted to match the car. Rear valance will be panited during winter months since rear bumper needs to be removed.

Finally some more performance mods to break the 500hp barrier. New JLT Cold Air Intake installed with custom SCT tune from VMP performance. Horsepower is now slightly over 600hp. Also installed Ford Racing 3.73 Gears and J&M Lower Control arms to get the Horse Power to the road. Next mod will be larger fuel injectors, blower pulley and another tune from VMP tuning.

New Coast DriveLine & Gear 1 Piece Drive Shaft. Rated for 900hp +
Half the weight of factory, less rotation weight...means more power to tires.
