I ordered the car from dealer in PA and took ownership in Aug 2006.  Car has been in a garage since day one with a cover on it.  Only caught in one rain storm a few miles from the house.  Break in of the motor was done in the mountains of West Virginia going through all the gears and varying speeds and rpm's to seat the rings properly.  Oil was changed at 1000 miles to remove factory break in oil and replace only with Castro Full Synthetic along with K&N filter.   Oil change and filter is always done twice a year even though I never put more then 1,500 miles on the car. This car has been taken care of with the utmost care and love that you can have for a vehicle.  This is my 8th mustang and my favorite.  I have spent over 10K in all the mods not including labor.  The car was taken to a custom car appraiser in order to get custom insurance from American National.  The process included putting the car on a lift and spending an hour going over the car along with going through all my receipts to put a total replacement value on the car of 48,200.00.  For anyone that has always wanted a piece of history to own a GT500, that not only Carroll Shelby signed my visor, but this year was the first year he came back to Ford and this car was truly his vision and creation this would be your car. This car is a head turner on the road and at carshows it always brings home an award and I have over 200 trophies in the garage to prove it.
